Mariological Days Medjugorje
Mariological Days Medjugorje are organized by the
Parish of St. James Medjugorje and the Information Center
Mir Medjugorje in co-organization with the Pontifical International Marian
Academy (PAMI) from Rome.

Mariological Days are a new format of meetings and
a place to learn about the Church's faith in the Blessed Virgin Mary in
Medjugorje. It is in Medjugorje, the place of Mary's special presence, that we
offer the opportunity for Mariological intellectual and spiritual formation: to
better understand the faith of the Catholic Church about the Virgin Mary and to
adopt the criteria for the proper veneration of the Virgin Mary and Marian
spirituality.
Mariological Days Medjugorje are organized by the
Parish of St. James Medjugorje and the Information Center
Mir Medjugorje in co-organization with the Pontifical International Marian
Academy (PAMI) from Rome.
These days will be held in Medjugorje, from
Thursday, October 22nd to Sunday, October 25th. The working part will take
place in the Hall of St. John Paul II, and participants will also join the
regular prayer program on the external altar of the Church of St. James.
Mariological Days will be in Croatian, English and
Italian, with simultaneous translation.
Mary occupies an important place in the faith and
life of the Church. As the Mother of God, she
participates in a unique way in God's work of salvation for humanity. As the Mother of the Church, she is connected to all the faithful,
accompanying them with her guidance and intercession.
At the first meeting, we will study the Mariology
of the Second Vatican Council. It was the Council that placed Mary at the very
heart of the Church and the history of salvation, because it presented Mary to
us as a model for a living and committed faith in personal and public life.
We
invite priests, catechists, theologians, religious men and women, students and
all the interested pilgrims to learn about the importance of the message of the
Second Vatican Council about the Blessed Virgin Mary for today through
lectures, workshops, panel discussions, exchange of experiences and a prayer
program.
If you want to know what the Church teaches in the
Blessed Virgin Mary, if you want to know why Mary is important in the life of
every faithful, come and find out at the Mariological Days in Medjugorje.
